The bill (Reg. No. 8077) updates fundamentals of the applicable Land Code concerning introduction of the State Land Register. Currently, a land plot undergoes state registration during every transaction, including the procedure of state acts issue or registration of lease agreements. However, the bill simplifies this procedure by assigning the cadastral number to every land plot.
The bill also abolishes state acts on the title to land since 2013.
Adjusting the bill to the second reading, the Committee considered more than 200 amendments. The Committee members agreed to the proposal of Roman Tkach, People's Deputy of Ukraine, to exclude provision, whereby the State Land Register in Kyiv shall be maintained by the executive bodies of Kyiv City Council by January 01, 2020.
